Straight-Chain C8 Phthalate

Chemical Description

DnOP is the linear-chain analog of branched DEHP. Linear phthalates generally show weaker anti-androgen activity in repro assays, but cumulative-exposure modeling treats them together with the active phthalates. Used in flexible PVC, plasticized rubber, and some adhesives. CPSC permanently restricts it from children's products based on cumulative-risk modeling.
