The Encanto Passive House — the Buelow Residence — is a new-construction single family Passive House in Palo Alto, modeled by Emu Passive in their Project Boost program. The design targets PHI's Passive House standard with peak heating loads as low as 7.9 kBTU/h, peak cooling loads of 7.2 kBTU/h, and a fresh-air ventilation system supplying 19 cfm per person — all built with non-toxic, healthy materials inside Earth Bound Homes' Healthy Home Approved building science.
